S.O.N.G.A. Sociedad Nacional de Galápagos C. A. was founded in the Galápagos Islands to process tuna, lobster and other seafood. In 1,982 Songa moved its operations to Guayaquil. Once Songa re-settled, it was acquired by one of its present owners and in 1,994 invited another fellow-shrimp grower to co-owned the company. The combined operation assured SONGA with 70% of the shrimp sold. More Info
